The Supply Chain Manager position is responsible for purchasing raw materials, supporting our “trading” business, sourcing new relative value ingredients, and overseeing day to day supply chain issues including toll, logistics, and pipeline/inventory management.
Develop, execute and monitor purchasing based on market volatility and raw material needs.
Demonstrate ability to support our trading business, by finding opportunities we can back to back or by sourcing ingredients that can be traded outside of our normal manufacturing.
Source and negotiate trades on raw material opportunities with both new and existing vendors.
Provide leadership in the Supply Chain areas by providing day to day leadership in purchasing, logistics and toll manufacturing.
Oversee inventory and pipeline management and lead corrective action and improvement plans.
Manage inventories as well as operating working capital.
Develop and maintain a sound working relationship with others in the sales, manufacturing, and our vendors.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as needed.
