Triumph Actuation Systems - CT designs, manufactures and repairs complex hydraulic, hydromechanical and mechanical components and systems as well as mechanical and electromechanical actuation products. Job Summary: To support Triumph Actuation Systems - CT customers by creating a supply base and negotiating the contracts that deliver products and services on-time, in the quantity required, with 100% quality, and at the most competitive value.
Identify, establish, and maintain agreements with supply base to support Triumph Actuation Systems – CT operations with products or services, purchased directly or indirectly, for the manufacturer or assembly of products sold to our customers.
Work with Triumph in supporting criteria for the classification and development of the Triumph supply base into strategic, core and transitional and a strategy on the movement of work from transitional suppliers so there is no disruption in supply or service.
Identify and establish a supply base that can support engineering prototype and development work on all new programs.
Develop a commodity matrix that will allow developing new programs to know which suppliers are to be utilized for quoting parts or source selection.
Maintain all master purchasing templates (T & C, NDA, LTA, etc.) and revise as necessary with appropriate approvals from TGI corporate legal counsel.
Ensure compliance with all government sourcing requirements with regard to disadvantaged businesses and keep such records for audit requirements.
Develop commodity pricing goals and strategies.
Maintain all LTA contracts to ensure that renewals and other date sensitive requirements are met in support of lead time reduction, improved working capital and improvement of quality and delivery.
Job Requirements :
Physical Limitations: Work may require sitting up to eight (8) hours per day, standing up to eight (8) hours per day, writing, reading, effective communication, and travel. Work may require lifting components weighing up to 50 lbs. Flexible work hours may be required. Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree and CPM or other accredited professional certifications. Minimum Years of Experience Required: Minimum of five to seven years experience working in aerospace manufacturing in a Supply Chain capacity. Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1.
