  • Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written) • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Basic knowledge of SAP systems or other ERP systems required • Ability to work across matrix organization, integrating complex multi-functional efforts crossing multiple business areas. • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities • APICS Professional CPIM certification or certification in progress preferable • Entry level with some Supply Chain Management experience; as well as supply chain concepts (planning and scheduling) • Personal competencies: o Customer Focus o Work Management o Teamwork o Communication o Analytical Thinking o Business/Financial Acumen o Task oriented with supervisory oversight • Technical competencies: o Product knowledge o Data analysis o Distribution processes o Forecasting o Transportation processes o PC skills (including SAP, Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes) o Production Planning knowledge o Manufacturing process knowledge o Exercise independent judgment in planning & transferring orders for finished goods & semi-finished goods & how it impacts
  • Plan and execute procurement of finished goods and component materials from contract manufacturers and suppliers. • Identifies and recommends opportunities to reduce costs and prepare for future growth. • Provides an interface between the Sales/Marketing/Project Management Teams and the Manufacturing Sites in India to ensure packaging is developed with no duplication of effort and with clear business driven priorities. • Partners with Third Party Contractors, Purchasing, Finance, and Project Management to identify gaps in capacity and drive for new and innovative analysis to facilitate cost and service improvements. • Proactively report product and material availability issues. • Maintain, monitor Master Data; revise essential system planning data to ensure SAP system is effectively planning future requirements. • Inventory Management: DEA reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and reserve percentage measurements, Product Life Cycle management; measure related KPI’s • Make recommendations for new SOP’s or necessary changes to SOP’s. • Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in SAP ERP system. • Proactively provide supply status and shipment tracking to North America, and India Supply Chain teams. • Developing knowledge and understanding of equipment and capabilities of Third Party Contractors and Supplier Manufacturers. • Participate and contribute to monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process. • Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
