We are looking for a highly motivated person with prior experience in a supply chain or logistic planning role. You get a kick out of multi-tasking, tight deadlines and cooperating with stakeholders. You understand the importance of attention to detail, have the ability to analyze and interpret logistical information and you have strong computer skills. You need excellent communication skills which would you employ in your daily contact with our suppliers and the people within our company that depend on your feedback.

To meet our growing customer needs, we manage several suppliers across the globe, including our own production. Whether it's capacity management, ordering, quality management, supplier auditing, system development and structural improvements, the Supply Chain Planner plays a key role towards making every customer happy and hence the success of Shapeways.
You take care of and continue to build relationships with your designated suppliers, both holding them accountable for their performance and helping them grow as fast as we do. You will perform service level management, quality management, and back order chasing. You will provide Customer Services with timely and accurate information about order status and production feasibility of each ordered creation. You will also support our product team to help with new material introductions and by creating designers rules and user tutorials.
The successful candidate will have:
2-4 years of experience within an Operational Planning/ Supply Chain environment
An engineering or logistics masters degree
A good understanding of business systems and processes
Systematic & analytical personality
Driver of continuous improvement
Shows potential for leadership
Ability to build reports in PHP/SQL or similar is a plus
