Function: This position is responsible for creating production schedules which balance the competing needs of customer service levels and manufacturing efficiencies while maintaining inventory levels within the range as set forth through the S&OP process. With this experience, this position will observe, learn, gather and document business process information in the Supply Chain Planning department in order to provide Supply Chain Planning Supervisor with a summary and collection of these documents. This position will also provide support to the Supply Chain Planners on several projects to support the department.
Major Job Activities/Duties:
A) Replenishment Planning
B) Supply Chain Planning Operations
- This position must achieve finished goods service levels in accordance to current targets specific to markets segments or individual customers. The planner should simultaneously be creating schedules that allow for efficient production for their internal customer operations
- Observe and gain a basic understanding of our Supply Chain Planning Replenishment process.
- Document business processes
Must be pursuing a 4-year College Degree or Masters at an institution with an accredited program in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation. Good initiative. A high level of competence in PC applications and the ability to use technology as a decision support tool. Ability to coordinate and move forward on planned activities in a team environment. Collaboration, decision-making, problem solving, results orientation, ability to follow clear objectives. Ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives; identify deviations from plan and facilitate resolution. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
