  • Supervises activities of their assigned functional area with the objective of providing an effective and efficient operation
  • Responsible for maintaining maximum productivity and accuracy of performance while being consistent with business and customer service objectives, and inventory control procedures
  • Develops the Team – Actively walks the floor and coaches in the moment to encourage and enhance each individual’s ability to execute as well as develop their own respective teams. Maintains notes / observations of each direct report’s strengths and opportunities. Thoroughly prepares and frequently conducts developmental conversations with direct reports. Takes immediate action on performance issues within the team.
  • Recognizes and Motivates the Team – Reinforces positive behaviors. Proactively identifies the most effective ways to recognize team members / teams that achieve superior performance
  • Analyzes Business Performance – Reviews and understands targeted forecasts and expenses to quickly identify and prioritize areas of opportunity, determines root cause of the opportunity, and sets team direction to productivity and/or team performance to deliver expense / productivity targets
  • Makes Strategic Decisions – Actively walks the floor to identify opportunities related to performance and safety; Directs team to address issues that have biggest impact to team members
  • Participates in the Talent Management Process – Partners with the Talent Leader to select/hire supply chain talent and the unit leadership to succession plan for current team
  • Interpersonal Relationships — Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintains them over time
  • Team Communication — Provides effective and timely information to co-workers to facilitate overall team performance
