The Support Specialist is responsible for clerical and administrative support within Avera Health Plans.
This support includes preparing documents and letters, managing large databases in complex software, organizing the collection of information for management reporting, producing management reports, developing power point presentations, preparing maps, posting information to the Avera Health Plans’ website, supporting board, leadership and department meetings and maintaining highly confidential information as well as general support.
The execution of these duties and responsibilities are critical to the Plan’s performance and success.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
