The Support Technician for ShaleNET will assist the Hub Coordinator with the development and implementation of the laboratory facilities for the Northern Hub Office of the ShaleNET Consortium. The Consortium, funded by the Department of Labor, has a planned start date of October 1, 2012 and an end date of September 30, 2015.
This is a grant-funded position and continuation is dependent upon availability of grant funds.
Associate’s degree in Science or Engineering discipline required.
- A minimum of one year oil and gas experience in production operations required.
- An understanding of and commitment to the community college philosophy.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing and ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, classified staff, and diverse community groups.
Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering discipline preferred. Minimum of two years of oil and gas experience in production operations preferred.
Experience in project management preferred.
