The Surface Rentals Specialist is responsible to support and enhance customer service and satisfaction, in conjunction with the account management personnel and with expertise in Surface Rentals service operations
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
•Overall responsibility for front line business development and lead generation, maintenance of customer relationships, and assisting with scoping and pricing of projects/jobs.
•Develop and ensure a good working relationship with internal stakeholders such as account management personnel and personnel from the assigned operations branch.
•Interface with the customer in a professional and effective manner. Provide excellent customer service on projects/jobs including Sales Order issue resolution, technical support, follow up on equipment/service issues, and building strong relationships with the customer representatives in the field.
•Assist with pricing and quoting by applying local market knowledge and experience.
•Understand and work with the Surface Rentals Coordinators in the communication of the manpower, equipment and resources required to complete Surface Rental projects.
•Actively participate in joint sales calls with account management personnel. Participate in internal sales and business development meetings.
•Document competitive issues and convey findings to management.
•Upsell additional Surface Rentals assets and services on existing projects/jobs.
•Actively seek opportunities to cross sell other Clean Harbors' lines of business into existing projects/jobs and convey opportunities to account managers.
•Document opportunities through call notes and pipelines in Beacon and participate and contribute to weekly internal sales and bookings calls with account managers for feedback.
•Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

High School diploma or equivalent; Knowledge of scoping/pricing of Surface Rental projects
Knowledge of Surface Rental equipment, Surface Rental customers and market as a whole (strongly preferred).
3-5 years Surface Rental work experience
•Knowledge of scoping/pricing of Surface Rental work
•Leadership and supervisory skills.
•Knowledge of Surface Rental equipment, Surface Rental customers and market as a whole (strongly preferred).
•Excellent presentation skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency in Windows based applications.
•Requires near visual acuity, speaking and listening.
