Job Category: Support the sales team by assisting in the field with sales and merchandising in the following cities: Raleigh, Charlotte, NYC/LI, North NJ, Phila North, Phila South, Balt/Wash, Boston, Albany/Springfield, Syracuse/Rochester/Binghampton,Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Southern Cal, Northern Cal, Seattle.
Open new accounts and create incremental volume. The surge team member will report to an Area manager or Regional sales manager.
Surge Team member will work up to 28 hours per week for up to 35 weeks per year; compensation: $13.75/hour paid bi-weekly and $35 per day for gas/expenses also paid every 2 weeks.
+ New account prospecting
o Survey specific market areas for opportunities
o Open new accounts based on cold calling and account leads (no buy reports)
o Expand distribution of new products and line extensions
+ Account maintenance
o Nurture existing accounts to create overall SunnyD presence
o Establish and maintain relationships with SunnyD accounts
o Set up display opportunities
o Place hard/soft Point of Sale (POS), place equipment - display racks, barrels, glide racks
+ Route rides working with the bottler rep to:
o Open new accounts
o Place hard/soft POS
o Take re-orders adding incremental case sales
o Authorize and increase current sku's
o Gain incremental store space by adding a second shelf, glide rack, ice barrel, display rack.
o Place hard/soft POS; place equipment - display racks, barrels, glide racks
o Reset shelves/coolers (eye level juice door)
o Maintain shelf presence by controlling inventory at store level
+ Logging Hours: Members must log into payroll system every 2 weeks minimum to log hours
Qualification: Candidates should possess sales experience or a high degree of interest in sales as well as high degree of motivation to excel and make a difference. The work will include both working in a team environment as well as working alone at times; MUST have a car, insurance, valid US driver's license; computer/internet access.
