Summary:
Performs a variety of duties in the OR to assist the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the RN. Primarily function as a member of the sterile team creating, maintaining a sterile field, set up instrumentation and hand off to physician or surgeon. Work closely with physicians, provide service to the "physician customer" to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Certification in Surgical Technology preferred. Medical terminology required. Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile technique required. One year of previous experience preferred. Call required,
