DESCRIPTION

The Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Surveillance shifts. This includes ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of all casino and gaming commission departments, internal control standards, and all other relevant regulation.

DUTIES

Although other duties may be assigned, the essential duties include the following:

Evaluates personnel performance

Maintains familiarity with all applicable policy, procedure, and regulation

Maintains department compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Possesses knowledge of table games and slots cheating methods

Operates the digital surveillance system

Maintains department records

Maintains a professional relationship with all casino and gaming commission staff

Keeps the Surveillance Manager informed of all ongoing activities

Obtains familiarity with all software used in the department

Delegate's workload as appropriate to cover duties in a fair manner

May occasionally work with outside regulatory or law enforcement officials

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

High School Diploma and or G.E.D. equivalent

Preferably, 12-15 college units in related field of law, investigations and/or management

EXPERIENCE

Preferably, 2 years of experience in the gaming industry, surveillance, security training and/or a combination of experience and education

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to obtain a Gaming License from the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians Tribal Gaming Commission

Ability to deal effectively with all staff members, using tact and diplomacy.

Effective written and verbal communication with excellent leadership skills to promote a positive and professional image

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet prescribed deadlines, etc.

Ability to maintain knowledge of gaming operations and investigative skills to conduct thorough investigations

Provide superior customer service skills.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.

Familiarity with digital surveillance systems

Possess an aptitude for teaching

REQUIRED

A current California Drivers License or California Identification

Social Security Identification
