The Surveillance Technician maintains and performs preventive maintenance of the surveillance equipment ensuring peak operating performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs and repairs surveillance equipment. Maintains the surveillance equipment in optimal operating condition. Maintain a thorough knowledge of gaming surveillance standards. Occasionally performs duties as a Surveillance Agent. Be knowledgeable of policyand procedures, gaming laws and attendant regulations. Be knowledgeable of table games, slots and money handling procedures. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Must have knowledge of camera installation and some low voltage electrical work.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Basic skills needed.
Remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, working rapidly, working at various tempos, remembering names and faces, examining and observing details.
Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, carrying, sitting, bending/stooping, observing, stretching, balancing, lifting up to 75 pounds, able to work off ladders.
Inside, noisy, high places, outside, changing temperatures, must be able to work with hands above head.
