Conduct field interviews with recently booked arrestees in intake facilities throughout Maricopa County. Maintain professional relationship with criminal justice agencies and staff as an on-site project representative of the Center and ASU. Maintain high ethical standards for conducting human subjects research in accordance with University policies. May assist with other study related tasks, including, but not limited to: data entry, organizing data, or monitoring supplies. Travel throughout Maricopa County and flexible work schedule required. Position involves interviewing during irregular data collection periods.

DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Sunday 8:00AM-9:00PM

Minimum Qualifications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired. Background in criminal justice or criminology. Experience conducting individual or group interviews with offender populations and/or criminal justice professionals, preferably with both a standardized or structured format, and an open-ended or free-form unstructured format. Preference will be given to those possessing a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, or closely related field.
