In the energy sector we perform feasibility studies, survey engineering, permitting & facility design services associated with the distribution of energy in pipelines; as well as offering a full range of asset management software. In the private sector, we offer services associated with permitting, surveying & design and construction of commercial buildings and residential subdivisions. In the public sector we offer a full range of services associated with roadways, environmental protection, water distribution and treatment, wastewater collection and treatment and software for municipal functions. We are also able to offer design/build/operate services through a wholly owned subsidiary.

Our land surveying department is currently looking for a Survey Project Manager to work out of our office in Portland,ME. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects providing surveying support from design to construction. This is a Client oriented “hands-on” management position where responsibilities will include supervision of staff involved with daily field and office efforts, preparation of existing conditions and property line plans, oversight of boundary research and property line determination, management of construction survey efforts, and preparation of project estimates and proposals.

The successful candidate will be a registered professional land surveyor, preferably in multiple states, and have a minimum of five years of surveying consulting experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering is preferred.

A thorough understanding of boundary law, project management, plan generation, GPS survey technology and proficient AutoCAD drafting skills is required. Knowledge of high definition laser scanning is helpful.
