This position functions as the operator on the switchboard and greets all emergency room patients/customers. This switchboard operator/receptionist will receive and process telephone calls, handle inquiries from the calling public and assist patients with dialing instructions. The switchboard operator/receptionist will assist the medical staff by relaying physician calls, paging, call parking and generally assisting the calling party. This position will be responsible for assisting Hospital Access Representative, as requested and performing mini/quick registrations.
Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma One year of switchboard experience. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Articulate and clear speaking voice Professional telephone manner Ability to accurately take and deliver phone messages
