Responsible for operating console telephones, switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls. Performs various hospital communication and business office duties related to patient data and billing.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Excellent listening and speaking skills a must.
Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are preferred.
Precise dictation with a well-modulated voice.
Manual dexterity is essential for equipment operation.
Billing procedure knowledge helpful.
Able to concentrate and perform accurately under stressful circumstances.
Previous switchboard experience is preferred.
