Job Summary:

Perform the overall maintenance of and responsible for the operation of the company’s computers and applications. Ensure that policies, procedures and internal controls are adhered to as they relate to computers and computer applications. Perform all duties in accordance with Club Fortune policies procedures.


Advanced troubleshooting, experience with Windows Server 2000 - 2008, SQL Server, Exchange, AD, backups, basic networking, DHCP, DNS. Must have a pleasant demeanor and ability to follow procedures. Education should include at least one of the following: Two years experience in a system administrator capacity in a structured enterprise level environment; Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree with a preference in Computer Sciences; or Associated Certifications. Must be able to work under stress as a team player and able to work independently. Ability to analyze difficult/complicated situations with careful attention to detail. Able to easily and positively adjust to changing priorities and department processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of casino operating systems preferred. Must be 21 years of age.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assisted by the Controller, maintain internal controls to ensure the security and integrity of the IT assets of the company.
  • Analyze computer system needs to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information systems for the organization.
  • Monitor information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support to end users.
  • Manage computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
  • Review reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance.
  • Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans.
  • Field and troubleshoot user support issues related to computers, servers, desktops, applications, networks, hardware and other IT equipment.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, department and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino ICS.
  • Installation and repair of equipment and software.
  • Ticket management, follow proper escalation and keep users informed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide timely service in a friendly and courteous manner.
Work Environment and ADA Requirements:

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 100 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many guests. When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
