Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from

low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests

from the underlying true needs.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to think

  • through information needs and functional requirements and produce requested

    deliverables as needed.

  • Elicit end user requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys,

  • site visits, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

  • Drives and challenges business units/customers on their assumptions of how

  • they will successfully execute their plans.

  • Performs logical thinking when configuring and supporting all system applications.

  • Works both independently and in teams with minimal supervision; self-motivated

  • and disciplined.

  • Implements application changes as designed by senior staff within established

  • deadlines.

  • Reviews, recommends and implements approved customizations in conjunction

  • with end users, senior analysts and consultants within the project timeline.

  • Troubleshoots application issues for root cause and coordinates issue resolution

  • with end users, senior analysts and/or consultants.

  • Insures all systems put into production are properly documented, including all

  • production system changes, and meet the requirements established by

    department/hospital policy.

  • Demonstrates ability to work in project development teams and

  • professionally interact and collaborate with diverse groups, including end users,

    executives, managers, administrators and subject matter experts.

  • Performs data extraction, data analysis and mining activities from a multitude of

  • sources for various reporting needs of the hospital.

  • Analyze, document, and submit issues discovered during testing. Verify and close

  • issues resolved during the release cycle .

  • Analyze business requirement specifications and interact with integrated testing

  • team to plan and develop test cases.

  • Update test cases when appropriate to reflect changes in product functionality or requirements.


  • Actively participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization processes to ensure

  • successful execution of testing activities.

  • Effectively contribute and implement new ideas to improve the software testing

  • process.

  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.


  • Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.


  • Demonstrates good active listening skills when interviewing customer needs and also

  • when extracting input from co-workers and team members.

    21. Participates in the development and execution of comprehensive testing scripts of

    all systems before implementation of a production environment .

    22. A bility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic

    environment.

    23. Attends seminars, demonstrations, and classes to gain knowledge of industry

    developments and product releases.

    24. Assi sts in on-call responsibilities when necessary.

    Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
