This position will research problems, assist with planning solutions, make software and system recommendations, and assist with coordinating development to meet project requirements. Other duties include writing user requests into technical specifications and acting as liaison between business users and development. May also be responsible for designing considerations and planning a system flow from the ground up.
Meet with various business partners to gather and document requirements.
Write technical requirements from a critical phase.
Interact with developers and architects to understand software limitations.
Provide recommendations utilizing use cases, charts, etc.
Perform system testing.
Participate in deployment of the completed system.
Document requirements or contribute to user manuals.
Provide necessary components to development team.
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or Business Administration or related field.
Two or more years system analysis experience.
Familiarity with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and hardware platforms.
Familiarity with requirements gathering tools/techniques.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in teams.
