The System Developer will be responsible for design, implementation, configuration and support of all IBC business applications, heavily leveraging skills in C#, SharePoint development and Web content delivery. This position will participate in SDLC activities including business requirements gathering, solution design, software development, unit testing and support.

System Developer is responsible for the understanding and study of the IBC business systems. Design, develop and maintain key business components using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010, JAVA, C#, HTML5, CSS or equivalent technologies. Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. Be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future software release versions. The System Developer will interact with solution providers, vendors and outside contractors as necessary.

Four (4) year degree and 5-8 years directly related experience or a combination of curriculum and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform the required duties and responsibilities. 3-5 years experience with web development and object oriented programming in ASP.NET, C# and supporting technologies. JAVA experience a plus. 2-3 years experience with SQL and supporting technologies. Strong relational database background/understanding. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in configuring, maintaining and administration of SharePoint 2007/2010. Foundation of delivering SharePoint content to internal and external customers. Knowledge of current laboratory practices and the regulatory standards affecting the blood industry preferred. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong knowledge of the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies.
  • Web based application design and development – HTML5 and CSS
  • Software development tools and techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Development.
  • Experience with delivering content via web services.
  • Fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
  • Strong relational database skills and experience in SQL and Oracle.
