The System Quality Support Consultant reports to Director of the Survey Center and System Quality Support. Under general supervision and within Lifespan policies and procedures, provides consultation to keys stake holders and workgroups in support of Lifespan Quality Priorities. Develops and implements programs and strategies that support the system's quality priorities. Analyzes, implements and evaluates improvement teams and activities aimed at patient experience and physician engagement. Provides metrics driven reporting and project updates to key stakeholders regarding performance to goal. Identifies barriers and issues to reaching goal.
: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing or other clinical area, master’s degree preferred. Superior written and oral and communication skills required to work effectively with department team, management and non-management employees and physicians across the health system. Understanding of patient and family experience and physician engagement metrics and performance improvement. Certified facilitator preferred.
Two or more years experience in performance metrics, improvement, best practice identification, team building and change management preferably in a large complex healthcare organization. Clinical experience and/or staff work experience in patient care or management preferred.
