The system administrator is responsible for: Installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting all IT infrastructures, which include Hardware, Software, Network and Disaster Recovery Systems for the Company, with the ability to work flexible hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Hardware experience to install, maintain and upgrade small to mid-size enterprise servers and workstation is required. Understanding of SAN/NAS, iSCSI, Fiber channel technology and necessary skills to replace and install internal parts for both servers and workstations.
Experience with Software on how to install, maintain, upgrade and administer multiple operating systems (OS) like but not limited to Windows, Citrix, ESX, etc. The tasks include creation of accounts, security access, network file systems configuration, DNS service, DHCP service, network printing services, etc. Also requires skills to install, maintain, and upgrade various applications which vary from desktop applications to corporate applications like but no limited to word processing spread sheets, slide show presentations, database systems, e-mail system, back-up system, web servers, fax servers, financial applications, human resources applications, order entry applications, contact management applications, e-mail filtering, internet filtering, virus protections, secure remote access applications, etc.
Networking Experience required to manage, support troubleshoot and maintain network devices like but not limited to network printers, wireless network devices, routers, network monitoring devices, etc. to perform these tasks it is necessary to have understanding of TCP/IP network protocol configuration and network security.
On the Disaster Recovery System, the system administrator is responsible for protecting the corporate data, this task requires the skills to install, repair, manage and administrator tape back-up libraries and data back-up applications, to create a data safe environment by implementing data backup schedules on a regular basis so the data can be recovered in case of disaster, these data needs to be stored locally for quick access and off-site for protection in case of a natural disaster.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, Microsoft, CCNA, Certification preferred.
4+ years’ experience Server/Telecom administration in a medium scale corporate environment (100+ nodes).
Excellent experience with Windows Server 2003/2008, VMware 4.1 and up, Active Directory, DNS, Load Balancers, Citrix Presentation Server, SAN/NAS, Symantec, Cisco and Sonic Wall Devices, Tomcat and Jboss administration.
Able to write, read, speak and listen English. Ability to keep fluent communication regarding technical support or not. Ability to translate technical information and adapt it for the understanding of non-technical individuals.
Demonstrate good oral or written listening and communication. Be able to perform effective presentations, public speaking, reports or proposals.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Desirable certifications by Microsoft regarding Server and Network Administrations, Cisco Certifications, or IT methodologies or concepts such as ITIL.
