Explore currently has one opening for an entry level Windows Systems Administrator. This position will support stage and production environments. Tasks include application deployment, server maintenance, patch management, and security monitoring. This position can be located at either our Eagan or Marshall, MN office.
Server maintenance, including virtual environment and VM host in a Windows environment
Troubleshoot application issues due to software, hardware, and/or network issues
System monitoring and trouble shooting
Assist with disaster recovery design and implementation
Implement and monitor system security controls
Active Directory management
Some help desk activities
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to function independently and as a team member
1 – 3 years or more of industry related experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, Windows Server 2003/2005/2008, IIS, VMWare, Exchange 2010
Batch scripting, networking experience, and knowledge of SOX compliance all a plus
