Systems Administrator Â

Provide day-to-day support to the user community which is primarily comprised of Dell Workstations, Active Directory, Windows 7, Office 2010 products, HP/Ricoh Printers, eCopy, SpringCM and Mitel telephone system Â

Responsible for Windows O/S patch updates and testing Â
·
Support MS ActiveSync and BYOD in a corporate environment Â
·
Support Dell/HP Server environment running in a mixed Windows 2003/2008 environment, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008 Â
·
Maintain, review and modify system backup as required per SSAE16 using SQL backup Procedures, Backup Exec, Snap Manager for Exchange and Snap Manager for SQL Â
·
Provide remote support for branch offices, including periodic visits as required Â
·
Provide first level support of the LAN/WAN and telephony infrastructure including HP switches, ASA Firewalls and Mitel telephone systems Â
·
Support Bloomberg, Morningstar and other core applications Â
·
Take part in projects as required Â
·
Review and update documentation based on existing systems Â
·
Take part in off-hours Business Continuity Testing Â

Provide off hours telephone support The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written and display a strong understanding of Active Directory working with user accounts/groups, eMail and SQL processes, job creation/modification.
The candidate should have a general understanding of Telephone systems and VoIP.
Knowledge of Backup Exec , NDMP, NetApp, SOPHOS or similar applications is highly desirable, but not required.
