Requirements:
1. Understand and comply with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures and standards.
2. Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Hospital Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store CHOP information.
3. Support all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information.

1. For Epic applications teams, at least one relevant Epic certification is required as outlined in the Epic certification policy.
2. For non Epic applications, a relevant certification is desired, if available. 1. A+, NET+, and MCSA, certification(s) preferred.

1. AS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other Health Care related field required, and
2. Relevant experience (1-2 years) within a healthcare environment highly desired.
3. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
2. One to three or more years experience or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and capability.
3. Basic knowledge of and ability to work with SDLC concepts and the ability to produce deliverables according to CHOP’s SDLC.
4. Basic knowledge of and ability to employ systems analysis concepts, techniques, industry best practices, tools and standards.
5. Basic knowledge of and ability to employ software quality assurance and testing concepts, techniques, industry best practices, tools and standards.
6. Basic knowledge of web-based technologies, processes, and analytics .
7. Healthcare experience is a plus. 1. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business preferred, technical school diploma, or direct experience within a healthcare ID Administration function highly desired.
2. Minimum 1 year of Information Security-related experience required.
3. Must be proficient in Active Directory and Remote Access applications.
4. Understanding of clinical, financial and technical systems and processes, and process redesign.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY-PART-TIME POSITION

Mandatory Requirements:
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
