COLSA Corporation is seeking a Systems Analyst III that will be responsible for effective installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and related infrastructure, on multiple platforms, primarily UNIX systems. Responsible for supporting data management activities which include receiving, cataloging and distribution of test data as needed. Additional duties include daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing systems and application logs. Responsible for working with customer when troubleshooting issues. Responsible for performing analysis on system problems. Responsible for working with system users to define problem areas, data availability, report requirements, etc. Responsible for defining system objectives and for preparing system design specifications to meet user requirements. Responsible for analyzing various ways to derive input data in order to select the most appropriate process. Responsible for implementing system design specifications. May define input and output file specifications including file organization. May be responsible defining controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans. May occasionally provide work leadership to lower level employees. Other duties as assigned. Position requires good communication skills with users and co-workers and ability to adapt to a dynamic customer-oriented environment.
Candidate will be responsible for serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for classified systems in which they are assigned. Included responsibilities include, but are not limited to account maintenance, security audit maintenance and configuration management reporting. Candidate must possess, or be able to obtain CE certification as well as COMPTia Security+ certification.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or the equivalent experience
Minimum of seven years work related experience. UNIX experience required. Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs. Working knowledge of current systems and applications.
COMPTia Security+ certification
UNIX and/or LINUX CE certification
