This position is accountable for implementing cost effective, timely technical solutions that address business needs.

Implement technical solutions to address highly complex, strategic business needs:
Collaborate with business users to analyze needs and develop clear, specific requirements
• Develop a comprehensive set of technical tasks required to attain the objective. Work with the project manager to ensure that all identified tasks are accurately represented within the project plan
• Specifically define and gain agreement to the size of the effort based upon a clear set of user requirements before moving into the development phase. Identify additions to scope that will necessitate adjustment to IT resources or timeline
• Design and implement solutions that meet user requirements
• Fully test the business and technical aspects of the solution
• Implement solutions within agreed upon scope and timeline
• Maintain awareness/develop competency in new technologies as they evolve
Ensures that the computing environment is stable and available to support business units and customers at all times:
Implement reliable solutions that meet batch and real time performance expectations and support pre-established uptime goals
• Schedule changes in accordance with Change Management policies and procedures
• Proactively engage in the resolution of production issues both within and outside immediate areas of expertise
• Provide 24X7 production support on a rotational basis
Ensures that a strong partnership exists with internal business units:
Responsible for effective client interactions that meet or exceed internal service quality targets
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills
• Provide a high degree of accessibility to business unit clients
• Provide primary support for one or more products, services, or applications
• Fully understand banking products, services, and supporting business processes and technologies
• Consult with organizational management to clarify technical issues and identify opportunities for future initiatives
Ensures that a strong partnership exists with external suppliers:
Responsible for clearly defining and communicating expectations
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop effective solutions that meet ESL business needs
• Monitor the performance of suppliers in addressing ESL business needs
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in supporting Banking application systems
• Strong analysis, design, and programming skills
• Demonstrated highly effective communications, interpersonal, and team building skills
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• Proven ability to independently manage the most complex activities
• Demonstrated background in Web and Client Server solutions
• Proven ability to integrate packaged software
