On primarily an independent basis maintains and modifies existing applications programs and writes new applications programs of moderate to significant complexity and scope. Requires only general direction on complex tasks. Responsible for defining application system requirements to solve complex business problems. Designs develops implements maintains and supports end-user systems. The Systems Analyst is also responsible for defining and maintaining applications development standards and methodologies.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems desired or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of six years experience desired in programming using the basic language pertinent to the position. Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required to do this job: knowledge of pertinent operating system and programming language; skill in converting specifications and procedures of moderate complexity into application and program solutions; writes and communicates moderately complex program specifications; communicates well both verbally and in writing. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Visio and Project desired.
