Systems Analyst New Breed Logistics -

Summary of Functions:
Due to continued growth we are seeking a Systems Analyst at our Corporate HQ in High Point, NC.
The chosen candidate will support the applications process for the information systems component of New Breeds business. Writes specifications for new development and system enhancements, performs integrated quality assurance testing, configures systems, and supports client relationship management processes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in the design process with business analysts, members of the development team and end users of the system
Responsible for writing detailed design specification documentation
Serves as liaison between the business analyst and application developers when system design questions arise
Participates in every step of the product development life cycle from design through testing and release
Understands system intricacies from user interface functions and background processes to supporting database
Provides level 2 support to resolve production systems-related issues; includes periodic 24x7 on-call support as required by teams scheduled rotation
Some domestic travel may be required
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience and understanding of component based software, object oriented methods, Internet technologies, client/server architectures, relational databases, structured development and test methodologies
Good communication and organizational skills. Must be able interact well with others and work well in a team environment
Experience with software development projects
Minimum two (2) years experience with system design, development, testing and implementation of warehouse management and logistics systems
Experience with formal project management and systems development methodologies
Experience in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, or distribution
BS/BA degree required
