Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science or related field. (A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS certifications desired, but not required).
Minimum of 5 years experience with image build and deployment using MS technologies, MS Windows workstations and server operating systems, Active Directory, and DNS.
Minimum of 3 years experience using WSUS for patch management, and technical windows installer packaging experience using SMS/SCCM and InstallShield
Proficiency with several scripting languages, including VB Script, WMI, WiseScript and Windows command-line.
Experience with WindowsPE, PXE, TFTPboot and VMware.
Win7 and USMT experience
Experience with Bitlocker and Beyond Trust a plus.
Must be a strong team player with excellent client service skills, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent problem solving and analytical/technical trouble shooting skills. Must be able to multitask, be highly organized, adaptable and have experience working in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Description:
We are currently seeking a Systems Desktop Engineer to perform a variety of engineering activities related to supporting the delivery and management of a consistent, high quality workstation image for end-users. Duties include design, development, and support for the full life cycle of activities related to workstation configuration management including: developing and maintaining workstation images, application packaging/delivery and patch updates to the workstation.
