Imagine One is currently seeking a wide range of candidates for an opening to provide support to the United States Navy's PMW/A 170 Program Office. Work will be performed at Naval Base-San Diego. We are looking for a Mid or Junior-Level Systems Engineer. Requirements are as follows:
Provide support for systems engineering analyses, studies, requirements decomposition, and engineering process management for a complex radio frequency communications system.
Assist with the development and review of system requirements, interfaces, space/weight, cooling and power, communications payload aircraft integration, shipboard and shore communications terminal engineering and network interfaces.
Coordinate the development of key performance parameters, system attributes, architecture data, system specifications, information assurance and security engineering and incorporation of this data into Navy program acquisition documentation.
Maintain program engineering schedules, tracks status, evaluates operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and participate in integrated product teams and working groups.
Assist and provide support for development, management and implementation of the System Engineering Plan (SEP), Information Support Plan (ISP), systems specifications and other technical and program acquisition documentation.
Support development of data calls, prepare briefs and advise external organizations of issues.
Five to ten years of operations, engineering or technical support experience in Navy and/or Joint communications (SATCOM) and supported C5I systems.
Knowledge of the end-to-end C4I, SATCOM and network architecture supporting Fleet operational capabilities
Support planning, scheduling, and phases of the engineering, architecture analysis, technical studies or scientific work in a project.
Typical work may include the following: technical capability analysis, capability gaps analysis, requirements decomposing, interface documentation, alternative solution analyses, integration approaches and proof of concept tests.
Capable of reviewing and commenting on a broad spectrum of technical, operational and budget documentation that supports development, integration and implementation of Navy airborne and shipboard communications systems.
Must possess high quality oral, writing, and briefing skills.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical engineering or technology management field
DAWIA Level I Systems Engineer (SPRDE-SE) desired
U.S. Citizenship required
Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance
