Provides technical system support to one or more Clinical Information Systems. Under general direction, works independently and mentors other System Engineers and the enterprise technical team to design, develop and maintain the enterprise technical platform infrastructure. Provides high quality, secure and resilient platform that supports the Georgia Regents clinical, business and research needs. Provides the highest level of technical support and serves as a subject matter expert on the integration and development of multiple complex enterprise systems including Patient Registration, Clinical Information systems and Revenue Cycle. This role includes working autonomously and as part of various teams and involves creating specifications, obtaining quotes and defining cost effective procurement of technical components for projects in order to meet project delivery timelines. Helps ensure the success of Technology Services in achieving its strategic and financial goals which correlate to the mission, goals and objectives of the entire organization.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent with specific work experience/training including 8 years relevant experience in computer related technical specialties designing and supporting complex enterprise or departmental systems.
Technical experience supporting the hardware, operating systems, networked servers including physical and virtual, enterprise file systems and infrastructure of a Clinical Information System.
