Client Data Integration is a team of client-facing specialists and engineers who focus on facilitating the integration of client financial data onto FactSet’s systems. The ability for clients to view, analyze, and benchmark their own proprietary data is a key differentiator for FactSet, with products such as Portfolio Analysis, Risk, and a suite of Fixed Income applications relying on the timeliness and accuracy of client data.
Engineers are expected to design and implement tools that facilitate all aspects of the data integration process, including the extraction, transmission, and loading of data into FactSet’s proprietary data store. These tools include web applications, scripts, and batch processing environments. Client Data Integration Engineers also architect and maintain the company’s managed file transfer solution.
In addition to working directly with clients, custodians and other FactSet specialists on a variety of asset classes, there will be broad exposure to FactSet business practices, products and infrastructure. This will provide many opportunities to further develop individual financial knowledge and technical engineering skills, as well as contribute to product design and internal software development.
