The System Engineer position is responsible for the implementation/installation of Verint products at customer sites with a particular emphasis on our quality and VoIP-focused products. You will be working with both customers as well as other Verint personnel to deliver a successful implementation in a variety of technical environments.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
  • Installation and troubleshooting an implementation and address customer issues to bring to closure and avoid escalations and recognize revenue.
  • Working with customers to configure the existing network and telephony technical environments, installing, configuring our software products.
  • Integrate Verint software in the customer’s test and production environment.
  • Performing various validation tests to confirm deployment completeness and operational readiness.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4 years experience with VoIP related applications installations and deployment in Enterprise settings.
  • Customer service experience and familiarity with Call Center business and/or workforce management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of leading VoIP switches, including Cisco, I3, Nortel and Avaya etc.
  • Software specific working knowledge required of the following: Microsoft Windows 3.1/95/NT, OS/2, Novell 3.11 and higher, DOS 4.0 and higher, Microsoft Office Suite, IPX/SPX, TCP/IP
  • Experience working with voice and data networks in the capacity of design, implementation or project management.
  • Credit available and required to successfully perform the travel function of the role; ability to travel on average of 50% of the time
  • Successful completion of the background check process, including but not limited to employment, education, criminal convictions, OFAC, SS Verification and credit, where available and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • CISCO; Avaya or related certifications a plus.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing and testing CTI driven Client / Server or Desktop solutions using structure development and programming techniques.
  • Experience with the Ultra or Impact 360 product line is a plus.
  • TSAPI, Genesis, Call Path, CT-Connect or other CTI experience definitely a plus.
  • Special consideration for MCSE or Formal Training with NORTEL, Aspect, Rockwell, or Lucent phone switches.
  • Experience or background in programming, scripting languages as well as Oracle and SQL database experience is preferred.
  • Development experience in either real-time or telephony based systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of leading VoIP switches, including Cisco, I3, Nortel and Avaya.
  • Special consideration for MCSE or Formal Training with NORTEL, Aspect, Rockwell, or Lucent phone switches.
  • Experience working with voice and data networks in the capacity of design, implementation or project management.
  • Experience with troubleshooting SSO (Single Sign On) problems in internal support in an IT environment.
