Systems Implementation Specialist (Standard Chartered Bank; Newark, NJ) Research and analyze business requirements to design, build and test technical software solutions. Create all necessary development and production areas. Implement and configure all bundles into the test environment. Test and confirm interface connectivity and system stability. Liaise with vendor for any changes or local configuration updates, report issues to vendor with necessary supporting documentation. Work closely with System Implementation Manager and Quality Assurance (QA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager to plan and execute System / Integration Testing. Ensure area availability for all testing cycles and coordinate file loads. Discuss all Quality Assurance aspects with application QA teams along with System Implementation Manager. Adhere to the testing strategies which are compliant with Group testing standards. Coordinate relations with upstream and downstream systems development teams. Provide additional technical support to existing production support procedures. Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and other application teams. Participate in the implementation and post implementation review of the applications, infrastructure, tools and control structures. Train and mentor Production Support Staff. Ensure all project related documentation is submitted to TGB (Technology Governance Board) and CCB (Change Control Board) on time for review (including PRA, ASRM, AIG, etc). 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hrs/wk (Job Code M111019003)

Qualifications & Skills

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, plus five years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience performing software design and development for MTS (Money Transfer Systems) or similar financial applications. Experience must include design, development, testing, and implementation for payment/messaging software systems and applications. Experience must include three years of experience with UNIX/AIX OS, Oracle, MQ Series, and script writing, along with application production support and troubleshooting.
