Systems Integration Specialist will provide training and TA support and provide quality assurance as it relates to the implementation of the DHS Common Assessment. THE DHS Common Assessment includes the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS Comprehensive), ANSA (Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment) and FAST (Family Advocacy and Support Tool). Additional responsibilities include:

* Supporting the implementation of the CANS Comprehensive, ANSA and FAST across DHS, system partners and community members in Allegheny County.

* Conducting CANS, ANSA or FAST trainings.

* Promoting the concept of training and technical assistance as a major component to successful systems integration as part of a continuous quality feedback loop.

*Providing on-going training and technical assistance regarding the CANS, ANSA and FAST to providers and internal DHS staff.

*Supporting activities related to the maintenance of an on-line training site.

*Assisting in the coordination of the CANS “super-users”/advisory group to support system transformation.

*Assisting in the coordination and implementation of cross-system and DHS-wide training initiatives as identified.

*Assisting with the development and implementation of a continuous quality improvement plan with the implementation of CANS. ANSA and FAST across DHS and its contracted providers.

*Submitting quarterly and annual reports as needed for the various initiatives taking place within the Executive Office.

*Supporting activities with the Office of Information Management to develop, implement and maintain automated CANS, ANSA and FAST system

*Collaborating with DARE on various quality assurance/evaluation projects as identified,

Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field, with at least 3-5 years experience working in the human services field. Experienced trainers and/or familiarity with the CANS in preferred . Strong presentation skills, the ability to train and communicate with multiple and diverse audiences and experience developing curriculum and training objectives are needed to be successful in this job. Local and distant travel as required.
