Principle Duties and Accountabilities
Provides continued coaching, guidance, and career development planning and performance management. Holds employee profiles and performs standard supervisory/administration tasks (e.g., 1x1’s, mid-year and annual performance evaluations, salary administration, etc.)
Mentors Information Systems professionals in a variety of competencies (e.g., application development, project management, people development, leadership behaviors).
Manages resource teams in support of multiple systems projects that provide a variety of broad-based systems solutions to resolve business problems.
Delivers successful project results through staffing, people management and issue resolution.
Develops and maintains strong partnerships with business/customer areas.
Actively involved in business/systems resource allocation, project costs, development of project objectives, and project status communication in support of operational planning.
Provides strategic view and direction to resolve business problems.
Develops high-level resource/project plans in support of operational planning.
Contributes to the ongoing evolution of the development methodology.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and understand the ‘big picture’
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and multiple roles (e.g., project team leader and team member)
Demonstrated working knowledge of the development methodology
Demonstrated working knowledge of Data Analysis concepts and terminology
Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant technical environments
Demonstrated understanding of systems functionality and integration across business processes.
Capable of performing project leader role on medium to large projects while demonstrating a solid working knowledge of the Navigator project tool.
