Provides prompt and courteous service both internally and externally.
Installs, repairs, upgrades, and maintains Windows 7, XP, and Linux based hardware and software systems.
Installs, repairs, and manages Windows and Linux-based site and fueling controllers.
Monitors and maintains system performance. Performs system back-ups.
Troubleshoots emergency situations. Identifies problems, gathers data, develops and assesses alternative courses of action. Makes timely decisions based on logical assumptions, using all available information.
Monitors progress and coordination of delegated assignments. Keeps Technology Department informed of progress and problems.
Finds and uses relationships between data from different sources. Identifies and researches questions.
Some local travel required; reliable transportation and insurability necessary.
Petroleum industry experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent degree from a two-year college or two (2) years of related experience. College degree preferred but not required. Other education and/or experience may be considered as a substitute. Proficient in MS Office, Google email and apps required.
LANGUAGE and/or COMMUNICATION SKILLS : Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions as well as procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other team members. Ability to communicate with Company personnel using the intercom, voice-mail and e-mail systems. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to carry out routine tasks in relation to the essential duties of the position. Ability to read and analyze basic statistics.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot software, systems, and process workflows.
