Call Center Environment
Primarily responsible for assisting the manager with process changes, implementation, training and cross training of new employees and current staff; also, responsible for general admission, collection of insurance co-payments, accurate collection of patient information, intake of reservations for pre-registration, contacting p a tients prior to p a tient a rriv a l for pre-registr a tion a nd a cknowledgement of financial liability; assists patients with their financial obligation prior to services rendered.

Education & Certification
  • Associate Degree required or relevant work experience equivalency of 3 years
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred (National Association of Healthcare Access Management)
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • Three years work experience with similar responsibilities preferred
  • Human Resource Management & Medical Terminology preferred
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Organized and can multi-task
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Type 35+ words/minute
