Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform 1st off X-Ray inspections on all production lots exiting the SMT lines per the standard operating procedures and per the product assembly instruction to insure product meets industry standards.

Coordinate the repair of any defective product with the SMT Area Supervisor and/or the repair group.
Work/Train with the PE group whenever a new requirement or component is introduced to get a complete understanding of the inspection and acceptance criteria
Provide X-ray support for the repair group - this covers all production, prototype and RMA material.
Log all defect data and report to PE when data is not in compliance with specifications
Work with Process Engineering and X-Ray programmer to help fine tune programs and parameters to sustain the highest level of quality possible.
Work with Process Engineering and X-Ray programmer to optimize programs and processes to enhance throughput wherever possible.
Responsible for insuring employee and product safety when working with and around equipment.
Assist with other production positions to include cross training on AOI equipment as production requirements allow.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
A comprehensive understanding of IPC-610/J-Std-001standards.
Ability to read & comprehend the assembly drawings, B.O.M, and customers documentation.
PC/Internet skills
