This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and management of Unified Communications Systems. The right candidate will possess a strong initiative and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both internal and external vendors, understand and apply general business concepts, and maintain focus through project completion. The Communications Analyst requires a strong attention to detail and IT acumen, with experience applying new technology and improving the business process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide systems support, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Quality assurance to manage system availability and improve operations.
Measure, evaluate, implement, troubleshoot, and diagnose phone problems and offer solutions to improve network performance measurement and tuning.
Ensure all processes are efficient, sustainable, repeatable, and predictable.
Create specifications, defining scope, designing solution, and providing technical oversight for call routing, ACD, and IVR projects and enhancements.
Manage multiple priorities and workload in a critical operations support environment.
Manage and maintain all telecom systems, servers, server operating systems and enterprise application software to provide services that meet current SLA objectives.
Track vulnerabilities and system issues, and monitor patch levels on all servers and workstations.
Work across multiple groups to assist in identification and mitigation of potential IT risk.
Facilitate the operational tasks related to the phone System, including metrics and trending.
Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology related capacity
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in System Administration or other relatable business experience
Interactive Intellignce I3 Software preferred
Applications programming skills
Windows PowerShell experience a plus
Possess strong technical analytical skills with ability to use statistical analysis, algorithm development, log correlation, etc. to effectively identify suspicious and malicious activity
Proven ability with VOIP phone systems
Available for 24x7 on-call support and monthly service weekend activity activities
