The Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) is seeking a part-time Box Office Staff Member. The LPAC, which consists of a 758 main stage proscenium theater, and a 100 seat black box theater, presents over 200 performances annually.

The Position:
The incumbent will perform all of the following duties under the supervision of the Theater Coordinator, Theater Assistant II and III which include, but are not limited to, the following: Concession sales before, during and after performances. Kiosk sales, assist House Manager before and during cast events, act as box office staff in support of all events planned for the Performing Arts Center, including phone and in person single event, maintain data base, end of the day balance and close outs and other duties as assigned.

Applicants must be willing to work weekday, weekend, and evening hours. Possession of a valid California driver’s license is required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, word processing and computer skills, the ability to work well and interact with staff and volunteers, and possess exceptional organizational skills. Cash handling experience is required.

Abilities and Knowledge:
This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions and to work well with a diverse group of people.

$8.04 – $8.70
