The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force. Works under general supervision of the supervisor who provides instruction on the maintenance of the Fort Wainwright sports playing fields and ice rink.

Incumbent operates a field-type tractor with attached and towed equipment, and Zamboni ice resurficing machine. Plans the order in which work is to be accomplished; transports materials and equipment; loads, mows and dispenses solid fertilizer and grass seed; removes snow from side walks and driveways during the winter months; and resurfaces ice as needed; and other duties as required.
Applicants must have and retain valid driver's license. May be required to obtain a Government motor vehicle operator's permit. Applicant must be physically capable of lifting supplies and materials up to 100 pounds; Must have knowledge of tractor and equipment operating characteristics such as tractor gears, power ratios, braking and turning capacities and operating speeds.
