DEPARTMENT: Parking & Transportation SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Transportation Fleet Coordinator TITLES SUPERVISED: N/A TOTAL NUMBER OF FTE'S DIRECTLY SUPERVISED: 0 TOTAL NUMBER OF FTE'S INDIRECTLY SUPERVISED: 0 PURPOSE OF POSITION: To assist in the efficient maintenance and operation of a vehicle fleet within a Medical Center in order to meet its fiscal, patient care, research and teaching needs. To provide operational support to the Transportation Services Coordinator. To further serve as a stand-by driver for the employee shuttle system. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement. Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience Knowledge of Excel Preferred: Commercial driving experience with passenger occupied vehicles

Periodically operate a Cincinnati Children's Shuttle Bus/vehicle in a safe and timely manner for repairs to be made or as a stand-by driver.
·Fleet Maintenance:
Wash, wax, change tires, replace head lights, brake lights and check vehicle fluids. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance and safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
·Inspections & Licensure:
Assist with annual State Bus Inspections and License renewals. Comply with all Department of Transportation Regulations involved within the Commercial Driver Licensure.
Attend required Cincinnati Children's training sessions, including Defensive Driver Training, Safety College, OSHA. Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross training, literature and attendance at departmental meetings. Maintain currency in the field through continuing education, literature and seminars. Implement this knowledge into the department.
