The Iowa Juvenile Home/State Training School for Girls is a 57-bed coed, residential
treatment facility for boys and girls with behavioral and emotional disorders, who are
Children in Need of Assistance or adjudicated delinquent girls. IJH is seeking a
candidate for Treatment Program Administrator to oversee the provision of clinical
and treatment services at the facility. This position is responsible for providing
administrative leadership, clinical supervision and training, coordinating
admissions and census, managing risk and safety issues effectively, and
ensuring that quality treatment occurs within the program. Performs related
work as required.
Graduation from an accredited college or university and experience equal to four years of full-time professional-level work in a treatment or habilitation program for correctional inmates, delinquent, disadvantaged, mentally or emotionally ill, or intellectually disabled, two years of which were at the administrative, consultive, advanced professional, or supervisory level .
