SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Assessment Specialist is responsible for identifying and evaluating assessment tools, standardized tests and organizational norms for placement, management and interpretation of assessment results for selection of potential talent for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversees selection, administration, and interpretation of standardized assessment tools used in the pre-screening and selection of talent acquisition processes for the organization.

Oversees the maintenance of test results according to the ethical principles of assessment.

Serves as a resource for assessment and testing matters to include validation, reliability and adverse impact.

Applies research and evaluation methodologies to develop organizational effectiveness, select statistical analysis and interpretation of results.

Coordinates with appropriate individuals to foster the development of new and evaluation of existing assessments in response to the changing needs of the organization.

Monitors and maintains all pertinent assessment data metrics for the Talent Acquisition Team to include the Kronos Talent Acquisition and other systems for the organization.

Travels to various blood center locations to as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in education, educational research and evaluation or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and general business periodicals

Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

Ability to create clear and concise presentation/summaries related to data insights, outcomes and implications

Ability to write reports, business correspondence

Ability to make arithmetical computations rapidly and accurately

Ability to follow-up on pending issues

Ability to organize work for timely completion

Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English

Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted internally and externally

Ability to travel within state

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
