The Talent Acquisition Consultant plays a critical role on the Talent Management team by effectively identifying and recruiting internal and external talent, one of the organization’s key Human Resources strategies. You will manage searches for various functions nationally across Capital Group and be involved in a variety of HR and Talent Management projects. You will demonstrate a deep knowledge of talent acquisition, including recruiting strategy development, candidate management, and assessment and selection.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

  • Partners with and influences senior business leaders and HR Business Partners across Capital to develop position profiles, candidate profiles, sourcing strategies and assessment plans specific to a given requisition/position
  • Delivers results in support of organization’s talent strategies
  • Conducts interviews and facilitates interview process for candidates, using a competency based assessment model
  • Develops and executes sourcing strategies which identify internal and external candidates for positions through passive and active sourcing methods, including information gathered through the internal talent review process, direct sourcing, internet and associate referrals
  • Consults with hiring managers throughout the course of a search to influence decisions regarding strategy and selection, facilitate candidate debrief discussions and provide updates
  • Communicates with candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure an optimal candidate experience
  • Partners with business leaders, HRBPs, and HR specialists to develop, extend and negotiate employment offers
  • Regularly updates applicant tracking system with appropriate candidate and/or position information
  • Participates on recruiting and HR related projects to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the talent acquisition function
Hiring Criteria
Skills/qualifications:

  • Functional/Technical Skills: Three to five years experience recruiting and assessing talent with a high level of accomplishment, including strong assessment and candidate management skills
  • Problem Solving: Experience using rigorous analysis to determine effective solutions to a variety of recruiting and talent management related problems
  • Priority Setting: Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively identify and prioritize the most critical tasks
  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrated experience presenting in a variety of formal and informal settings
  • Drive for Results: Results-oriented and driven to achieve and exceed goals
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
