Being the point of contact and representing Red 5 Studios throughout the interview process is something that you fully embrace, from your initial reaching out and arranging a phone screen to securing flight and hotel accommodations, you are always available should plans change or mishaps occur. Unique recruitment projects often come into play and your creative side comes to life while the team brain storms ideas and strategies on how to continue to attract the top talent necessary to insure Red 5 Studios’ success in the competitive global games marketplace.

A Typical Day Your morning begins with a review of the day’s calendar: Whose coming on-site to interview? Have the phone screens been added to everyone’s calendar? Are the Hiring Managers informed and prepared for their interviews? Have the candidates arrived safely from their flights and ready to come in to meet the team? Next you go online and check Taleo, the Applicant Tracking System, to insure that it is up to date and properly reflects the week’s activities. Any interesting resumes come in from the positions that you posted last week? The Talent Acquisition team gets together later in the day for a quick meeting on how to attract additional candidates for a specific requisition that has been hard to fill. Your ideas are well received and the strategies in going forward are exciting for you to help implement. Later, several team members present to you possible referrals who may be a good fit for Red 5 and you discuss with them their backgrounds and qualifications to make sure that they are a good cultural fit before pushing them forward to the rest of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with coordinating meetings, recruiting events, and special projects
  • Interact with various candidates, hiring managers, and Red 5 Tribe members to schedule interviews
  • Assist with opening, closing, and posting requisitions in the Taleo Applicant Tracking System
  • Manage company content on the Red 5 jobs page as well as various job boards
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and maintain weekly recruiting reports as needed
  • Act as the candidate’s guide and main point of contact during on-site interviews
  • Assist in the development of training materials realating to recruitment processes
  • Overall support for career fairs or other recruitment related special events
  • Other assigned duties and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year relevant Talent Acquisition experience
  • Must be able to maintain a very high level of confidentiality
  • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize - strong sense of urgency
  • Proficient in the usage of the entire Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of social media and it’s usage in attracting top talent
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Unyielding passion for games
Pluses
  • AIRS recruitment techniques training and certification
  • Previous experience with the Taleo Applicant Tracking System
  • Knowledge and interest of Boolean Operators and other research tools
