The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and leading talent acquisition strategies to ensure Vermeer has the appropriate talent to support current and future business needs.
This position will drive and provide direction for the full life cycle recruiting and onboarding activities including internal and external talent acquisition, sourcing and selection practices, college recruiting and recruiting related legal compliance.
The person in this position will also provide leadership to the talent acquisition team responsible to recruit exempt and non-exempt office and production positions.
Essential duties and responsibilities

Develops talent acquisition and placement strategies, processes and procedures to identify, attract, hire and onboard talent.
Ensures talent acquisition strategies are in line with the business segment and overall corporate strategies.
Organizes, prioritizes and deploys day-to-day talent acquisition activities and measures progress against goals.
Ambassador for the company who is able to sell our vision, values and employee value proposition.
Coordinates with human resource colleagues to develop supporting sourcing strategies to address bench strength deficiencies and projected talent needs in line with organizational objectives.
Develops programs for college recruiting, minority outreach and intern programs that provide Vermeer with a pipeline of talent.
Lead the employment value proposition strategy to position Vermeer as a premier employer of top talent.
Identifies, implements and manages appropriate systems, solutions and best practice processes for workforce planning, recruiting, applicant tracking, selection, onboarding, compliance and reporting.
Identify, select and oversee the management of third-party preferred vendor relationships; ensure vendor performance metrics are appropriate and monitored regularly.
Lead, guide and develop employees on the Talent Acquisition team.
Forecast, manage and maintain talent acquisition budget.
Bachelor degree required.
Preference in human resources,
business or related area.
Minimum seven years progressive talent acquisition experience including at least three years managing a talent acquisition department.
Required areas of experience include full life cycle experience with external and internal talent sourcing and acquisition, college relations, employment value proposition and compliance.
inimum three years demonstrated leaderhip and people management experience.
Minimum two years managing third-party vendor relationships.
Experience working in a global environment and/or manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with lean methodology a plus.
Experience in the design and implementation of recruiting metrics, dashboard or other recruiting performance measurement tools required.
Advanced knowledge and application of employment practices and applicable laws and regulations.
Experience with Taleo or similar applicant tracking systems and online sourcing networks required.
Experience implementing an applicant tracking system preferred. P
roficiency with Microsoft office suite
